The Grave Gardener program
relies on donor support
The Grave Gardeners program is coordinated and managed by the staff of The Woodlands. After six years with such a positive response to the program—we have over 150 participants this year, and over 215 gardens tended—the Grave Gardeners have become an integral part of our programming. We are always working to further develop and improve the program, from general program management to the development of new gardening workshops, to providing a more thorough selection of resources to our gardeners.
Facilitating and coordinating the program, including purchasing supplies and plant material, costs approximately $15,000 annually. In order to keep the program free and accessible, we do not require donations from volunteers, or that volunteers be members of The Woodlands. We do, however, encourage those who are able to donate to support the Grave Gardeners.
Donate today to keep the Grave Gardens flourishing.
